We've installed WebTrends 6.1a on a brand new machine, and activated our license. Unfortunately WebTrends 6 is no longer supported, and we are forced to stick with this current version for now.

I have noticed that some reports are not running, and we're getting this error found in the event viewer:

Faulting application wtrs.exe, version 4.0.0.0, faulting module wtrs_engine.dll, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x000ddd79.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at [go.microsoft.com...]

I've also noticed that some of our reports that have a green checkmark next to them have successfully been moved over, however double clicking one of the profile yields blank charts, and I can tell that Java is working correctly. The charts display as if there is no data.

When I run a brand new report, everything displays just fine. How come the history that we already have is displaying as blank charts within our dashboard, let alone any report we view on these existing reports?

Your report structures have moved over, but with v6 you can't migrate your analyzed data to a new machine. You'll probably have to re-analyze everything. Alternatively, if you still have the old machine with the analyzed databases, you might be able to just juice up that machine and keep using it. It'll save the hassle of re-analyzing lots of old data.

And it sounds like a faulty installation. You might want to reinstall.

WebTrends doesn't actively support 6 any more but the Knowledge Base articles for old versions are still online in their site's support area. There might be something that covers this.
