wondering if you were advertising on google and submitted say 50 links for key words and each link has a url for an internal tracking site (that passes through and goes to the destination) would you get worse results on google?
for example if the links submitted were:
[thetracker.com?dest=thesite.com...]
[thetracker.com?dest=site2.com...]
[thetracker.com?dest=site3.com...]
would your search engine results suffer because they all are going through a tracking site first? or is it okay because the full url is being submitted by the advertiser?
thanks,
mcm
No, the destination URLS do not affect your ad ranking. Using URLs that resonate with the user searches does increase the CTR of your ad, so be cautious there.
However, you should be cautious with the URLS. If implemented improperly, Google won't display your ad. For example, if your redirects make pressing the back button in your browser, Google will disable the ads.
