My Urchin Stats are giving me some pretty wierd, numeric keyword referrals lately like "000000", "6f6f6f", "333333". They look like color codes to me.

Why would they be appearing in the list of keywords someone typed in order to find my website?

More to the point, why was your site returned as a "hit" for these search terms?

I actually can't verify that they were. My site doesn't come up in the first four pages on SERPS when I type in those phrases.

How far down in the results were the links that your visitors followed? Have you tried just clicking on the links in your stats, and seeing what you get...?

Thank you.

(oops, sorry to have been gone so long...)

They were my top 1, 4 and 6 referral keywords in Urchin. There was nothing to click on in the stats, so I've kinda given up.

Now that I'm working in both Urchin and Google Analytics, I'm seeing that Urchin has a whole bunch of noise in its results. Guess I'll join the ranks of GA users.
