[G Analytics] Gathering data, but not showing it

How long for stats to show up?

Hi,

I pasted the Analytics code into my webpages about 24 hours ago and I still see no stats. Does it take that long for the first stats to appear? My other website uses Analytics too and stats for that site have been updated...

The Analytics admin says it's 'Receiving Data'

Any suggestions to what might be the problem?

Google Analytics generally updates your reports every 24 hours. This means that it could take 24 hours for data to appear in your account after you have first installed the tracking code.

I had the same concern and it took about 2-3 days for me to start showing data. I spent ages checking out the config and in the end it just starting working on its own.

I'd give it another two days before worrying unduly. I know the feeling though, it's like having a new toy but not being able to get the wrapping paper off. It's well worth the wait though!

I have been a bit impatient. I just logged in and saw the first stats are showing. Thanks :)
