One: Open the last week of data then open each day individually and find the day where the data last appears. If the last day of data seems quite low, then the problem happened during the day and you can figure things out by opening a raw log. If the last day of data seems to be the usual amount, then the problem probably happened when the logs rolled over and you probably should compare a typical log line for that day to the previous day.
Two: Copy that profile, set the copy's analysis start date to be really recent (the General tab), and see if the PA appears. In that case you have a corrupted database or profile.
My guesses are:
somebody with access to the web server tinkered with the logging setup and stopped logging the query field.
something changed on the site and your parameter analysis definitions are no longer matching the situation
The WebTrends definitions changed or the parameter analysis was dropped from the profile
The WebTrends database for this profile is corrupted
I tried the following.
Created a new profile and only processing the last few months.
This seemed to work as it now shows the stats for paramater analysis correctly.
I then tried clearing all the stats and processing all the logs again from the 'old' profile.
This resulted in the same outcome where the parameter analysis shows an empy screen.
So i guess the only thing i can do now is just create a NEW profile and just run all the logs in it again.
I do have 1 question though.
Will making a new profile and letting it process all the logs again, will this effect the pageviews? as i am already struggling with the limit at the moment
Otherwise, you can re-analyze logs as many times as you want within a given year, provided you haven't done anything to confuse WebTrends about whether it's the same logs or different ones. On older versions of WT (7 etc) you had to be careful about moving logs or renaming them.
Since this is apparently a corruption problem, and if you have the license issue I described in the first paragraph, and if you have a maintenance agreement, you might be able to persuade WT to help you out with the page quota. It wouldn't hurt to ask.
