I was using the onmousedown click to log the click and my clickthroughs were lower than Google's. 12% lower - enough to be concerned. Any thoughts.
I returned to the javascript rewrite using rel="external" and using a 302 redirect as rewritten from the apparent straight link.
I am working to provide clear signals that my site different than a scraper site - and this seemed to be one way - increase the pages viewed and measure by Google Analytics and to show lots of outbound referrals.
Your thoughts?
