Just looked through the recent visitor log and found someone searching for this on the site:

The \x02\xb1\ repeats quite a few more times.

What is it they are looking for and what does the code do?

Somebody is trying to take advantage of a buffer overflow. It is very old they are looking for people that have not updated their server in a long time.
