So I want to know...
Did I convert more units yesterday than this day last week... This day last year.
Did I convert more units last week than two weeks ago... than this week last year.
Trends with comparisons that mean something. Conversions on Monday compared to Sunday mean nothing.
Conversions by referring domain
Conversions by search term (organic and PPC)
Conversions by cost per click when PPC
Conversions by country
Conversions by advertising campaign (or affilliate if I wanted)
Pretty much I can set these up on the dashboard, I think, but sometimes I have to dig around a few clicks. What I DON'T have on the dash is comparative conversion trends on these metrics over logical time periods easily yet. I only really care about traffic that converts except to see what traffic that doesn't convert does (funnel / click
path analysis)
I can compare two dates or two ranges of dates, but that is not as intuitive as I would like... but I suppose it can all get exported to csv or excel files if I wanted to do it that closely.
Mind you the MUST SEE reports come to me by Email. Turns out I don't HAVE to see them all daily :)
