found a site in my logs

IP is in hundreds of stats files on the net

69.xx.102.254 grabbed 229 files yesterday, 229 files today, so far, and between 20-40 files on the 13th, 15th and 16th.

Today it grabbed 16 pages within 6 seconds and then 223 images, css and favicon within 2 min 30 sec.

Yesterday grabed the same 16 pages within 1 second and then the same 223 images, css and favicon in 2 min.

couldn't find anything about this IP so I put the IP address in G and the IP was listed with no results. Clicking the link, nothing resolves.

How do I determine if this is a candidate to ban?

I think you answered your own question, if you cant find anything about this bot then its a rogue spider especially requesting pages and graphics so fast

just checked oct, nov and dec logs and found he comes by several times each month.

oct over 1000 in less than 2 minutes
nov even worse, more than 1400 in less than 2 minutes.
