My Google Analytics account is not showing any 'Goal Template' to choose one after creating a new Goal. Does anyone know what's wrong with my GA account?

Can you be more specific?
Generally you have to name the goal explicitly - in the old days, it was common to load a thank-you.html page when a form was complete.
Same for a shopping cart, etc.
To set up the goal, you'd name the thank you page as a destination page type goal. When that page was loaded, GA would track the firing of that page as a goal.
Now things are much more complex - but it basically still works the same way.
