I am using cpanel I am curious about one thing Does cpanel log how many visitors add your website to "my favourite"? or is this action detectable on the server side?

No, this is not easy to track unless you set up some sort of tracking system of your own. We have a thread going on about this now: Lots of people adding to favorites [webmasterworld.com]
