I'll add the solution in a following post.

In a previous message, the issue cited was as follows:

Hi everyone,
My english is not good, but i'll do my best.
I've met a problem with Webtrends in exporting to Word. That says that Macro Levels in Word are wrong. So i've changed, I turn the macro off. After that, I do the same operation, export in word... Nothing changed, the same problem appears.
This is the problem reports:
Debug Log for WebTrends MS-Word/Ms-Excel Converter

WinMain command line: /inputfile="C:\Program Files\WebTrends Analysis Series\reports\Web Analysis\DEFAULT.wtw" /templatedir="C:\Program Files\WebTrends Analysis Series\base\template\" /reportdir="C:\Program Files\WebTrends Analysis Series\reports\Web Analysis\" /dlgcaption="Building Report: ccig" /displaydoc=1 /createWMFs=0

FindMSWordEXEPath: Unable to locate MS-Word via the system registry.

Thx for any helps.

The solution was the following:

1) in the registry, under HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Office, there is a key which defines the version of Office. In this case, and for 2003, it is 11.0.

Webtrends doesn't know how to handle versions as high as 11 so simply create a key for version 8, so make 8.0 and then define the path for Office Word there.

I created the following:

HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Office/8.0/Word/InstallRoot

I added the following REG_SZ: Path

Value: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\

Also, in Word, I had to set the macro security level to low in the program the first time Webtrends executed Word.

Hope this helps!

I'm sure the same applies to Excel.

Too bad NetIQ's knowledgebase isn't up to snuff here.

Eh? What version and year of WebTrends is this? Analysis Series is at least 2 versions outdated, do you think maybe Office 2003 didn't even exist then?
