anything wrong with these URLs?

Client is promoting a website thru various online and offline channels including CD-Roms etc

Each channel has included links to the homepage with unique Ids tagged on to the end of the URL, like so :

www.sitename.com/index.html?id=adA
www.sitename.com/index.html?id=adB

But none of these show up on the webtrends report. I know they've been clicked because I did a manual search thru the logs.

I've set up WT to report on dynamic URLs, and it does for other campaigns such as PPC. But this just isn't showing.

Is there something about the index or root URL that stops WT reporting on these URLs?

Stumped here :-(

Which WebTrends report are you looking in? Top Pages?

I think you're right about the root page being involved. WebTrends will change the home page to plain /, provided you have told WebTrends what the home page is called (index.html). WebTrends does this first, before any other analysis. So, if you defined your parameter analysis report to work with the parameter "id" on the page "index.html" it won't find any such page. You can do two things: you can NOT tell WebTrends the name of the home page (it's in the setup), or you can redefine your parameter analysis so that the page name is /.

I hope I'm guessing right about what's happening.

fom2001uk,

Not sure which version of WT you're using. In WT Reporting Center, you have to make sure the query string is not truncated in the reports. You can set that in Options -> File Types in your admin view.
