Hello everyone,

I was wondering if someone could help me out here. I currently have a web account through one of the more famous web providers (goes by a name very similar to global). They web host for me (I have my own URL). They provide logs for me which I analyze in a program I have, the only problem is the logs are 2 days old by the time they are posted in my "control panel" for download. I was wondering if I could access them myself somehow through ftp (or other methods) to get them myself to see immediate results. I emailed my hosting company 3 times but they like to not answer my question.

Thank you for your help, what a great place this is!

That is a common problem. There is no way to get them but you can make your own. I include a .php script on the bottom of every page that makes a log file for me that I can download at any time. Sticky me if you want it. If you just run html files you can set up your .htaccess file to parse your .html files through the php parser.

I have one site that I host at the same place you are talking about. I do not think there is anything you can do. No wonder why they are so cheap. You get what you pay for.
