I am trying to generate an annual report (approx 365 log files). When I try to run the report, WebTrends Log analyzer freezes. Is anyone else having this problem? Please help.

Maybe you're just trying too much at once and have run out of memory. Most of these programs do their processing in RAM or in virtual page memory and they can choke. Have you tried feeding it 3 months at a time, or some other smaller amount?

I have tried 1 month at a time, and it freezes as well. It says limit of 2048 characters / files?

So it's not just freezing. It's giving an error message of some kind? Could there be an extra-long line in your first month of logs?
