The only info I can find is for version 1.0. Is it from the same source, a French search engine?
Does it obey robots.txt?
It is very aggessive and using a lot of bandwidth and I do not think it has ever led to one sale.

AFAIK it comes from these guys [exalead.com]. I've seen it once or twice (I run French-language sites) but it didn't hang around. IIRC it reads robots.txt.
