Custom report with filter for only one dimension

Combining Exit pages with Single Access Pages

I tried to get a custom report with Webtrends Reporting Center to get one single report showing me
- which pages are the most commong exit pages
- how many of those visits only visited on single page before leaving

I tried a custom report with
- dimension 1: Exit pages
- dimension 2: Single access pages

As Webtrends doesn't show Single Access Pages as dimension I set a filter which only displays pages with one page per visit. But how is it possible to set a filter that is only applicable for one dimension of a report and not the whole report?

That's a worthwhile report to have, but I don't think you can get it. However, you can extract this information readily from two existing (non-custom) reports and combine them into one Excel sheet. Just take the exit pages and single page visit pages reports, put them in Excel, align the stats, and I think you'll have what you are after.

It's not as wonderful as being a ready-made report, but it goes quickly in Excel if you use the VLOOKUP function.

Does that help?

Thank you for the feedback!

I guess if not even you know a solution without Excell export then there is something missing in Webtrends (as this report is really very helpful).

Is there any way to use parameters in a scenario analysis?

If I could do a scenario analysis with
- first step = entry page
- second step = entry page

Then I could use this scenario as second dimension for a custom report which would solve the problem.

Scenario Analysis does allow you to set up a step that is a specific combination of URL stem and parameter value, if that's what you're asking for. In other words if the page you want to be step 1 is "genericpageURL.asp?id=24" and you want step 2 to be "genericpageURL.asp?id=25" it can be done. It's all in the setup screen for the scenario step.

The only way I found to have a report (without using the Excell export) is:
- dimension1: exit pages
- dimension2: entry pages

Like that I am getting closest to a list of exit pages showing me how many of them had single access visits.

Thanks again for your help!
