try this it's an old posting but it may give you the information you're after [webmasterworld.com...]

also try using the site search it will pull up loads of postings that should help you.

Thanks for your reply tigger. Your link was just about search engines but it was other sites I was really after.

I've had a search around as you suggested and the alexa site seems to be the only source, although it doesn't seem to be very highly thought of.

I was hoping a ratings agency might have published something.
