As we are talking about tracking I wondered how many here tracked their forum entries. I know that recently I purchased some software to do this and it has saved me a lot of time scrambling around for addresses and passwords.
I was just wondering how many other did this or how do you organise your forums and psotings.

I must admit it's something that I think people often overlook when discussing things in forums.
There has been many a time when I have posted in a newsgroup and it has resulted in a spike of traffic.
The important thing though is to be mindful of forums TOS (Webmaster World's are here [webmasterworld.com...] just in case you haven't read them) and that when you use software, as tempting as it may seem to say what it is, often it can be viewed as spammy.
Let us know how you get on with it, I've always found that forums and newsgroups as a lead generator or traffic generator have been good, but if I start to be more interested in tracking them, than taking part, then I have lost the spirit in which I wrote in the first place. That's just a personal take on it (without a mods hat on)
Hope that helps.
My comment was really to find out if other people do the same and what they use.
I love forums as they have taught me so much and also I have been able to help a lot of people.
