Hello,
I am wondering if it is possible to track visitors that find your site through someone's Instant Messenger profile? What would be the best way to do this, if possible?

I guess you could just put the url to your site in your IM profile in this kind of format: www.yoursite.com?IM

The just look and see how many people have visited www.yoursite.com?IM

There is no other way to do it without putting something in the tag?

tried it and doesn't work:
I put this in my profile: [dynamifyrecords.com...]

Didn't log into my referrer area (webstats)

That's because changing the URL to add query info (the stuff after the question mark) doesn't affect the HTTP_REFERER header. However, it would be recorded in the logfile.
