Sum Up My traffic

My site currently uses Webalizer. I am trying to figure out how much traffic i have, as in what I would tell advertisers. Do I go by Hits, Visits or what. I read the docs but can't understand fully.
One month I had :

Hits : 8009
Files : 4329
Pages : 503
Visits : 207
Sites : 200
KBytes : 66346

How do I calculate Traffic?

Visits is how many visitor sessions you had on your site. Unique visitors is exactly (give or take a few, depending on cookies etc) how many individual people visited your site. Page impressions is how many pages all your visitors looked at.

Hits is how many items (files, images etc) that were shown to visitors.

For advertising people usually look at page impressions and visitors. I don't think you'll have much luck persuading advertisers to buy advertising from your site - no offence.

No, not yet. But the site is new. I will get there, oh yes, I will! ;) what numbers do I need to hit before I think about advertising?

Also, if i had a counter it would count like the "Visits" does

I'm not sure what kind of traffic would attract advertisers - but you would probably need at least 1000 a month, as advertising is usually sold in monthly contracts on a cpm (cost per thousand impression) basis.

You could try Google Adsense, AFIK they do not have any minimum traffic requirements.

another point worth noting is that webalizer will include spiders in your stats unless you have configured it to ignore spider agents.

Wait, Wait! 100 a amonth? The stats I posted are for one Day. I get around 6000 a month for Visits, is this enough?
