Webtrends help

Hi,
I am using Webtrends software and basically, all my logs have extensions .log, and hence for data source I have selected *.log, i.e. all log files. Everyday a new log file is created in the directory, and hence once thats done I click on analyse now, as I dont want to reanalyse all the files, as it will take forever to create the report. The problem I am facing is that is says, no log found...but a new log has been created..
Any help will be appreciated..

You may name your log file with YYYYMMDD.log; then specify the logfile name as %YYYY%%MM%%DD%%.log. WT will only analyze the life log; or %YYYY%%MM%%DD-1%.log (for one day before)

Thank you so much for ur prompt reply, i havent tried it as yet, but any problems i let u know. How come my technique wont work i.e *.log...
