ok, i'm having some trouble with Windows 2003 Enterprise routing traffic to and from my linux box. It seems that all of my Apache logs on the linux box say that the source IP is 192.168.0.1, the ICS gateway from the Windows box. Of course i'm not creating alllll of that traffic, so Windows is altering the packets upon arrival and transmission, but why?

[Internet]------------------¦
¦---[Windows server 2003] -¦------->192.168.0.1/%internet address% (2 nics)
¦---[Slackware 9, apache] ---------->192.168.0.115
¦---[BSD]
¦---[Win XP Laptop]

thats the setup i have. I'm using AnalogX's Portmapper to redirect port 80's traffic to the linux machine...perhaps this could be the problem?

Possibly. It sounds like whatever you're using to redirect the traffic is changing the source address of the packets.
