Hi,

I've had a site for a while now, and I have never really analyzed my logs. My site is a PR 6 (sometimes 7) and I think I should start looking at my logs more closely.

Any starting tips? advanced tips? links?

TIA

If you can download your log files than grab weblog expert lite. It's free and I use it all the time.

Tip #1 - post tracking threads in the tracking and logging forum ;)

Tip #2 - read these threads:

[webmasterworld.com...]

[webmasterworld.com...]

Should be enough there to keep you busy for a while :)

My log files are 150 megs for the week, and its all in 1 file.

How am I suppose to open up a 150 megs file if I don't have software!?

(I think I can change my windows IIS setting to store in 1 file per day, instead of 1 file per week)
any other suggestions though?
