Hi, I'm new here, I'm <u>trying</u> to use Web Trends Trial to generate some reports, I have many different web pages in a server(i.e. www.myserver.com/is/ispage.htm, www.myserver.com/is2/theotherone.htm, and so on...) and I'm trying to use the filters to have different reports on each one but I can't, (i.e. on the "ispage.htm" page report the most visited site is www.myserver.com/ or www.myserver.com/is or www.myserver.com/is2/theotherone.htm)any suggestions?
And (other issue) my pages are notes based, so all the pages URLs are like:
www.myserver.com/is/ispage.nsf/home?readform
or
www.myserver.com/is/ispage.nsf/home?readform&query=/Menu/345J345OIFB8907DFGLJ349PVB9FD/df...
and in the report the page title appears, but only 14-15 characters(which is short on a big web site), is there a way to show all the title, and hide the long url?
TIA

Welcome to WebmasterWorld gutabo.

I guess that there is no one in the forum that knows the answer to your question.

You could try the support section [webtrends.com] on the webtrends website.

Thanks Mark!
I have some problems with the installation, I had Webtrends Enterprise Suite 4.0, and I ordered the "Analysis Suite-Advanced Edition for Domino 7.0". I can't get it to work, I already called them(from geneva-switzerland), mailed them , faxed them and a solution seems to be coming from them, so I have some more time...
So my question remains, I have some particular issues(check my first thread...)I tried to change to other LA program but the answer came loud and clear: I HAVE to work with WT. So, I'm stuck in a worst place (I have lost my previous information-webtrends just won't work on the server AND my pc)and on a colegue's pc(with the trial version) with the previous filters and stuff I made I don't get the same results...
So, can anybody help me please!?!?!?!?!

I'm not sure if I'm completely clear about your question, but if you have multiple sites in different subdirectories on one domain, then what you would want to do ist to set up an include filter that included only pages from the particular subdirectory.

If your site was located at domainname.com/yoursite/index.html

Then you would tell WT to only include data from /yoursite/

When I delete the Include All filter and add a Include Directory filter with the directory-I-have-the-site-on-name, the number of hits becomes 0...
I know I'm doing something wrong but working on a coleague's pc is not the best way to find out things(specially when your friend needs his pc as much as you need yours...)
Thank you!
<edit> I had in the previous version a exclude filter like this:
(exclude from: )/a* /b* /c*.../y* /z*(cept for the initial of the desired folder, of course)
but now there are MANY other files appearing on the report, and most of the files IN the folder that are notes generated are not appearing anymore, and the worst for my boss, the incomplete title I used to complain so much about is now gone, so in a few of the tables I get only the notes files'IDs...(guess you don't realize what you have until you lose it...)
Any help?
(Thanks web guerrilla!)

Hi guys! Great discussion, helped me out since I have a multi-domained site. The only strange problem - I use the include filter to include the different directories, and it works....except for one of them! Doesn't make much sense. All the other sites work, but this one shows all stats at 0, which can't be possible.

Any ideas? Is it a bug in WebTrends?

Can you give more info, please?
<update>OK, I got the page titles, don't know even how, but they're there...Now if I could only get rid of the "/HR/HRWebSit.nsf"(if you try to open it you'll get an error message, but still it seems to count every request for a document inside the db as a db hit =\ )</update>
