I recently removed the rewrite I used to block and redirect all NT w/o version numbers to an "Upgrade your browser" page. Today, this one hit the bot trap like all previous "just NT" visitors.

IP: 204.X49.X77.110
UA: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.0; Windows NT)

AFAIK Win NT 4.0 w/ IE < 5.01 don't show OS version number?!?

Yeah, I've heard that too. That's why I redirect to an "upgrade your browser" instead of generic 403 blocking.

It wasn't a question, just a bit of info I thought might interest those who track/ban bad bots.
