exclude ip address in awstats

help needed to configure awstats

the documentation doesn't show how to exclude an ip address from the statistics.
does anyone know how to do that?

Im pretty certain this is not possible with awstats.

Perhaps if using the raw log file you could import as a csv (using excel) with the those entries removed with something like webtrends.

Also, you could come up with a unix script to remove thos entries in the log file on say a daily basis using a cron job.

thanks for your reply. unfortunately i am not a programmer and i do not know how to manage all this - i am just a user who uses a tool.
do you think that the guys from sourceforge can insert this function in awstats?
or do i really have to look for something new...
