DeepMetrix stats reporting

Anybody using a host that uses this package?

Two of my sites are hosted with a company who have given me nothing but grief since signing up with them. I'm looking at moving the sites to another host, but I'm looking to move to one that has DeepMetrix as the reporting tool, as I'm kinda addicted to it. The host I'm with currently on these sites uses it and although it's supposed to be 'live' it's always stalling, crashing, and just not updating - particularly during Google dances. The host claims it's a known bug with DeepMetrix, but frankly I don't believe them for a second. I'm interested in a new host who also have this stats package so I'm keen for feedback from anyone else using a 'DeepMetrix host' and having problems - or not. Thanks,

I've got a host that uses DeepMetrix. The host is good, but the stats are terrible (down for four months now), and there has been other problems with them for years.

My host also blamed the software.

I've given up with it and now use something else.

When we compared deepmetrix to other methods of collecting stats, the level of innaccuracy we found was totally unacceptable - 3-400% in some cases.

Crashy or not (and it didn't seem stable at all when I looked at it), Deepmetrix does not give anywhere near an accurate visitor count, so I would recommend you have a look at the alternatives.

Thanks for the feedback guys, much appreciated. I've got a couple of months to get this sorted so I guess I'll take your advice and look at some other alternatives. It's still hard to concede that my host may be right tho' :)
