Any help on this one much appreciated - from mid December to mid Jan I saw a sudden increase in reported webtrends page impressions and visitors - of an order of 100,000 a day (the site gets c.1-200,000 a day normally). Checking through the webtrends reports, this seems to be associated with a large increase in 'other' (not Netscape or MS) browser type and 'other' (not MS, Linux, Mac) operating system. I suspect its bogus and the impressions didn't happen. The spider report doesn't seem to show anything unusual. Anyone got any idea what could be causing this?

Could be a rogue spider.
