a site i am looking after has livestats installed (which i find to be crappy imo) it shows lots of people using netscape 4.x(in fact the majority of users have NN4 apparently)and a quite a few NN3.x
I put a nedstat counter on the page, because i don't have access to the logs or other stats programs, and this shows that NN4.x makes up less than 2% but NN3.x is a whopping 35+%!
is this realistic.
nedstat also dramatically cuts down on the number of unique visitors on the site (or sessions as livestats calls it)
yesterday livestats reported over 135 sessions whereas nedstat recording about 30ish.
I'm inclined to believe in nedstat as i have experienc eof it doing a decent job for what it is.
