Share point warm reported by my stats program! Help! Help!

Also shows plenty of non exiting webpages. I am worried!

My stats program shows Share point warm which hit 12 times. Also when I see total pages it also shows non existing pages /filez_a.php,/filez_b.php,/filez_c.php and up to /filez_z.php and again using numbers and combination of both. altogether about 70+ pages. What is this can any one please explain me?

OK... I am just Guessing now, so please don't berate me if I am wrong but...

It might be your ISP doing checks on their nodes to make sure they haven't got blockages in their traffic. I am assuming that you are on a virtual server and that many sites or servers are sharing the same IP number.

Because it is internal - rather than traffic - it will be able to look not only at the pages you see/built as an owner, but also pages generated by the ISP which correspond to your domainspace.

Anyway... sounds plausible to me.

You are right I am on a virtual server. Thanks for your comments. Do you think those 70+ pages could have created by isp? I think those files are not existing as far as I am concerned I believe those are just the requests made to my server. I sell digital products on the net. Does any one trying to hack my server to download my products?

That's a security question now. I leave the security issues to someone who knows more than me I am afraid.

as far as what your ISP may have done or not done, I would just ask them. They know their own practices better than any of us.

They also may be able to help you or give you some recommendations as to what it might be.
