Hello, I'm after some help please
Our companies marketing contracts are currently on an hourly basis, and one of our clients is interested in using a pay per click contract. Can anyone point me in the right direction for software that will track unique visitors and referrals accurately?
Thanks in advance

You might try:
paidsearchenginetools -positionguardian - ppcbidtracker or managebid

Just search for any of those on Google, and the sites will probably turn up at the top.

Thanks skibum but i'm not after goto bid tracking or management, i am after a way of tracking how many unique visitors our clients get and the referral string, which is accurate enough for us to set up a click through contract.
do i make sense?

You make sense. You'll need either to run server side software on their server or use a hidden image/javascript deal that loads from your page. The latter will only work with about 90% of the visitors(rough guess), so I would shoot for the former if you trust your client.

Actually, you can just ask for their log files on a regular basis and run any log analysis program on them that can handle search engine query referrals. That might be easiest.

thanks ggrot
what sort of server side software would you recommend, as all our clients are hosted on our server.
cheers
