Urchin Log analyzer

I'm thinking of buying the Urchin log analyser, just wondering if anyone had used this before and what they thought of it.

It seems to be the best on the market around that price range.

I've used urchin for two years to analyze our online sales by product. Works well. Simple to use.

I've been using Urchin for a couple of years now. Currently, I'm comparing Urchin to Webtrends and, am getting different results for visitors. The urchin that I am using is provided by my hosting company so, I am not able to configure it. I'm looking at other stats programs because the reports I am receiving do not include Unique visitors, and other specifics. The reports which Urchin is providing are easy to read and use.

Yeah that's a config issue.. Sounds like your hosting company probably has Urchin set up to use IP tracking for sessions. If they were to switch it to use the cookie based UTM, it would give you uniques and other more detailed info..
