My web host provides LiveStats 6.2. However, it does not provide a large enough list of referrers in the report--only the Top 10 (unless there is a way I can change that that I don't know about).

Are the log files that are generated for a site a standard format whereby I can install and use any statistics program I want to generate reports, or are the logs LiveStats-specific, and I'm just stuck with it?

Maybe there is an easier way instead of using the statistics programs. I just want a list of the top 100 non-search engine referring web site for a week so I can list them in order on my home page. Is there a simpler solution?

So long as you have access to your raw logs ... yes. You can install a stats package on your PC that gives you this kind of info, and allow this to query your logs over FTP.

Sawmill is one package of this type that allows you to list all referrers. There may be others.

slobizman. most professional hosts should give you the ability to configure the reports to your liking and capability of the program. As it stands it sounds almost useless. I suggest you ask them, and you may find it is as easy as accessing a "preferences" page on the server or uploading your own config file from the instructions in the program.
