End of line for FunnelWeb log and site analysis software

Commercial versions of FunnelWeb products have been discontinued

According to an email sent by Matthew Parks, Director of Product Management, Quest Software, Inc. - "This letter is to notify you that effective August 1, 2003, we have discontinued the commercial versions of Funnel Web products."

Though technical support will be continued for those that have purchased "maintenance terms".

It looks like Quest will endeavour to fix any bugs in the software (up until July 31, 2004) but are not going to go and create a new version. Maintenance versions are still going to be available from the support section of their web site [quest.com...]

It also looks like commercial versions are now free to download, provided you own or purchase their "Spotlight on Web" server software but FunnelWeb will no longer be "covered by Quest Technical Support"

Is it any good? I've never tried it (the only funnelweb I've ever heard of was in my ozzie friend's shoe once).
