analog (a free log analyzer that runs locally on your PC) was recommended to me and from what I can gather should do the job for me.... BUT, if you know anything about it, please try to answer these questions:

1) Can it easily be set up to "reach out" to and grab log files, so one does not have to manually download them?

2) Does it do a decent job on "user agent/browser/spider" analysis?

Thanks

1. Not 100% sure om that one. You can can set it up on your server and run the job whenever you need them

2. You are going to have to get into the config file. Do that locally until you are happy with the outcome.
