Hi,
I'm new to all of this so please excuse my ignorance.

I'm looking for a VERY good log analyzer to use to get the usual infor such as entry pages, exit pages, referrers, search engine, visitors etc... but I also want to easily be able get stats on what pages a search engine has visited.

I have many also have many sites so a tool which can easily handle interogating different log files without me having to manually keep pointing the tool to new locations. Also if possible for the analyzer tool to be able to get the stats from the server without me having to download the logs, if it could do it automatically that would be great and if it could put it all into a database that would be even better.

I guess I'm after a tool which I can configure the locations of logs into then it basically does eveything itself.

I am willing to pay top dollar for such a tool.

This thread: [webmasterworld.com...] discusses the most popular stats packages used by WebmasterWorld members. It is pretty comprehensive and well worth reading through before making your decision.
