Googlebot requesting html table code as url

I was happy to see a visit from Googlebot. But I was surprised that it asked for such a wierd url AND did not request the robots.txt file.

The url it requested was: (broken up for no scrolling)

Is this just a case of html code on another site that isn't correct?

I think your guess is probably right, a broken <a> tag?

have you searched for the part of the text thats included in the request? Other than that you could maybe weed out all the unique referrals you have and check the ones you arent aware of...there might be an answer in the logs - but id try searching first :)
