Where are my logfiles?

Just got the program analog... need to find where my log files are can anyone help?
MY os is win2000
MY isp is Bt Broadband.

If you're hosting your site with your ISP, they should be able to tell you where they put the logs - there's no standard answer, each host can put them where they choose.

However, common filenames to look for would include access_log, web.log, yourdomain.log or similar.

I checked on BT website, it is access_log

"The access_log file is a log of all documents accessed.

Each line of the report contains the following data:..."

and

"...Your log files are held in your log directory with the format YYYYMMDD. Log files are stored indefinitely in your log directory.?

They are part of your allocated disk space and you should download and delete them from the BT Openworld server at regular intervals"

You should therefore be able to "see" them when you log onto your account and just download them.

It implies from what I have read that BT leave them there, and if you do not delete them, then you will run out of disc space.
