filetype:powerpoint and filetype:excel

After the Acrobat, Word and Flash, Alltheweb now index Excel and Powerpoint files.

It isn't possible to do a search for ONLY excel/powerpoint is it (couldn't see this on the advanced search)?

Yes, do a search for "keyword(s)" + filetype:powerpoint (or excel) like this one :
[alltheweb.com...]

It is not yet implement in Advanced Search.

I tried the following:
"filetype:excel -zg3dl69jgrns" - which seems to work ok.

Alltheweb seems to have indexed 47,000 excel files and 85,000 powerpoint files. It'll be interesting to see what kind of info can be found in these.

FAST has been able to index all sorts of filetypes for a long time now. Don't know if Excel and Powerpoint are new?
