Banners on Alltheweb SERPS

Did alltheweb.com always have banners at the top of the serps page.. or is this new?

maybe it's just the particularly colourful graphic caught my eye today, but I don't remember them being there before.

FAST thanks you for your interest in advertising on AlltheWeb. Featured advertisement placements on AlltheWeb, are hosted and served by Terra Group Companies (in the U.S.A. Lycos.com) as a partnership agreement with FAST to offer advertisers placement on AlltheWeb's search service.

The agreement under which Terra/Lyocs monetizes ATW has been in place for even longer than the post by Markus indicates (which I obviously missed, sorry).

It was under that agreement that ATW displayed OV listings for US users.
