FAST glitch or update?

Some sites are jumping up a bit for me

Anyone noticed an update in fast?
i see some movements and some very good one's for me but not any big diffrents when look around, maybe its a glitch?

I think Fast is twitching. NOthing major yet, and I've never really followed a FastDance, but results are moving around for a good number of phrases.

Yep. One phrase I followed as a test went from 33 to #1. Where are all the people following the FastDance? Where's the FastDance Tool? ;)

OKay. I suppose sleep is required by some. :) But where are all the folks claiming that Fast ruined them? Or that Fast has now fixed their algo and thank the Gods now children will have shoes...

Seriously though, the new, or intended new index looks pretty good. In fact, Fast and AV seemed to have really worked on their respective algos. Now if they could just do that monthly...

I first saw this over the weekend. My site which had been down in the doldrums for a few months is now back in the top 15 - so something has certainly changed.

I'm seeing huge changes in numbers of backlinks for some sites, and no changes in others.

I have no clue about Fast datacenters though, or how they serve results by area or geo-location.

Looks like something has changed in the SERPS, could be an update. At least on a couple of spot checks some rankings moved up. Needs some investingating though.

I`m seeing the same thing as you guys. Nice improvements across most of our sites. Has to be some kind of an update from Fast.

Update. Well, FAST is not updating the same way as some other engine. The update occurs on an ongoing basis where a % of the database is being updated. 25% at a time I think - sometimes they update a larger chunk though. Guess that's what we're seeing right now?

Tested a few searches and they didn't change from a week ago - others did. Same with backward links. The joy of SEM :)

some sites have not been updated for awile, but hopefully they will be soon, but i looking good so far.
