Design contest for ATW Alchemist

CSS Designers - get creative with AlltheWeb's interface

Alltheweb starts a design contest for the ATW Alchemist program, allowing users to personalize the appearance of the ATW interface.
Three categories:
1.“Simple, Yet Beautiful” (the most minimalistic design)
2.“To CSS Infinity and Beyond” (the best use of CSS technology)
3.“So 22nd Century” (the most innovative, best looking design)

Prizes: #1 in each cat get $750 gift certificate for Amazon.com. #2 in each category get a $350 gift certificate, third place $50.
PLUS winners css files will be publicallly available at ATW.

Contest is opened today and running to September 22.

Seriously I think this is - as the Alchemist thing anyhow - a great idea.

It somehow shows the roots Fast has in the open source / programmers / geeks world, creating and sharing skins and themes for popular apps.
It's a side Fast obviously can't show often, being a very successfull player on the corporate search market.

However $750 and a t-shirt is a bit chap imo ;)

It's an excellent idea. I think they'd get more entries if they did something like, "free lifetime #1 slot under you choosen keyword". lol
