The real results have a TITLE, a DESCRIPTION and a size (XY.Z kB).
The weird results have the link w/o the .html as title, the anchor text(?) as description and a size of (1 B).
Two of the four results (one real, one weird) point to the same URL. All three unique pages have been crawled but apparantly only two are in the index.

Summary: The closer I look at AlltheWeb the less I like it. Back to Google.
where do you find that "more hits from link"?
I just tried to locate that when I searched our keywords, which like yours are bringing up some very irrelavant and inconsistant (daily) results.
I have emailed Lycos and Alltheweb. Alltheweb replied with a suggestion that I contact Lycos with the problem, as my sites are PPI. The only time my search works is when I use the "exact phrase" option...but who can count on searchers to do that?
I don't know...it seems that no one really has any real answers as to why the results are coming up so wild...I think my greatest concern being in the US, is that they would hook up with Yahoo, and thats why I have been tracking it so closely.
I am about to give up on this search engine...even though it is totally against my obsesive compulsive nature.
Where are Heini and Rumbas?
Search for Microsoft [alltheweb.com...]
You'll get two LATEST NEWS: (is this new?) results that were indexed less than an hour ago and then the regular results. The first one is Microsoft's home page and you'll find the "more hits from" in front of the url. Get it? The second one is microsoft.de but w/o "more hits from" (maybe it's just a doorway page).
