There are basically three ways into Fast:s database. - pay for inclusion, at this time through Lycos. - try free submit at ATW, the websearch engine serving as showcase for FAST. - get good links to your site and wait for free inclusion, a la Google.

ok...i'm in the alltheweb but only my index..they just wont spider the whole site..ive emailed asking why but never got a reply!

soapy this recent thread [webmasterworld.com] discussed the issue of whether FAST bothers to spider for free anymore. I was sceptical that they did, as I hadn't had any new pages spidered for about six months. I'm now glad to say that some new ones are appearing, so I guess patience is the word (unless you can afford to pay, of course). One tip here, sorry if its really obvious - make sure your links are absolute and not relative (ie. use the full h t t p://www.yoursite.com/page.html, not /page.html).

yep...tried the url.all:http://www.soapsite.com and its just my index there...and checking my logs shows just the index page was ever hit by alltheweb!
