Fast, I don't think it's ready

I typed in my business' unique two word name, and it responds with 28 unrelated responses before returning the correct result.

Fast is apparently too clumsy to apply even the simplest filtering and returns results based upon the random seeding within a web page of the searched for words. EVEN ALTAVISTA CAN RETURN A SIMPLE BUSINESS NAME QUERY.

As I posted elsewhere, I searched for my backwards links and it only found 12 out of at least a hundred, and four of them were redundant. That is, they counted 2 links twice.

It's one thing to not rank well for a legitimate reason, but it scares the hell out of me that our businesses may be at the mercy of this clumsy "search engine" if a deal gets inked with yahoo.

My client's entire site got in free. I only have one page in, without paying. Yet, the same flawed results pop up for my client. Her site comes up number 2 for her name, behind an article written about her in an edu site. All the other search engines, including AV, can get a simple search like that correctly.

As long as fast has a pay for inclusion scheme they will never have the database google maintains. It is nice but they are keeping pages out. Google is free and will maintain a more inclusive web index.
