Just wondering what kind of turn around time you guys are experiencing with fast. It seems like they've been kind of slow to index new pages.(I've been submitting both the index page (with a hidden link to a doorway) and the actual doorway page.)

Last one I can find seth is from submissions on the 14th of july. (maybe some sooner I've not checked).

Last update took about 60 days from spidering to updating the index, since last heavy spidering was about 2-3 weeks ago I would count on index being updated sometime in mid October, if it is their normal schedule

I've been trying to get listed in FAST for over six months now with ZERO results. Have excellent positioning in all of the other major SE so I don't think I am doing anything wrong with my submisssions to FAST.

Had some correspondence with a FAST sales rep. earlier now my emails are ignored.

This is a real dog SE in my opinion and experience.

Sounds like a new post Gil.

We are running 3 weeks right now and with the current spider activity, I hope it speeds up. I sure would like to see Fast make it and faster update time is needed.

Hi Brett & Others;

Can anyone give me a clue as to why we have been unable to get our few pages listed at FAST (alltheweb). I use the standard submittal page on their site and hand submit only one or two pages each month. Our home page is quite small (only about 25K including graphics) and cant even get that in. The page URL is:
[ultramedco.home.att.net...]

We have had excellent results in all of the other major SE with position and listings for our pages so I don't think I'm doing anything wrong with our submissions.

I have submitted two or three pages a month for over SIX MONTHS now and not even one page has showed up in Fast. There are many old news articles that we have posted years ago but I can't seem to get anything new in.

At this point I am severely P.O.'ed with FAST and their staff who evades all of my recent emails.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Gil
