FAST PartnerSite limitations..?

does the deep crawl work?

I've signed up for a few domains under the PartnerSite Beta. One of my domains is under PartnerSite I, with individual pages listed; the other is Partnersite II, which is supposed to give a full site crawl.

The PS I domain's pages are crawled just fine, but after 2 weeks my PS II domain is not getting deep-crawled - FAST is just hitting the index page daily. It's not even looking at additional page. Which begs the question...

Has anyone else sign up for PS II or PS III and successfully had the spider deep-crawl their site?

I have not put the searchbox text on my pages; is it possible this could be the problem? I can't imagine they would _make_ you include the search box, for the service to work...

from what I gathered the toolbar is a must for PartnerSite II and III. This PartnerSite thing is a clever stunt after all: Site owners pay Fast for getting spidered plus having a sitesearch facility, only for the paid pages of course.
Fast in turn gets the money plus their websearchboxes incl. logo exposed on all PartnerSites.
You might want to ask Fastīs helpdesk about this.

Your pages should be crawled full depth unless you have set a limitation to depth 1 in your subscription.

The searchbar is optional. You choose whether or not you want to use this as your site search or not. We do not check that you use the searchbar either so that is not the reason you are experiencing this problem.

The best solution would be for you to send an email to our helpdesk at [e-mail], but you may also send an email directly to me at [e-mail] and we will investigate your problem. Please include information about your PartnerSite subscription in the mail.

still no deep spiders for me.

i even tried changing the parameters from "full depth" to "2 levels" just to see if it would change anything. it didnt.

Hey, no beta testers out here? Or just nobody participating who actually gets spidered?
Does it yet work at all?
