CDNow end their affiliate program

I just received an eamil that CDNow has ended its affiliate program and saying that Amazon will be providing services. It encourages me to join Amazon Associates instead. It says that CDNow will continue but I wonder what form it will take - perhaps just taking you to a branded Amazon like the Waterstones site has become.

Wow all the online music retailers are cutting back. Interesting to learn that.

I cannot shed any tears for CDNow, both as an affiliate and as a customer I found them wanting in both selection and service. Amazon can do it better.
