I am about to change my ad network provider. Currently I use trade doubler and am paid for leads, sales or clicks. As click through percentages continue to fall the natural thought is to move to a network that provides payment based on a CPM model. I am currently receiving about 90 000 page views per month. On a CPC rate even with this traffic it is not generating enough money to justify the adverts. What I am looking for is a CPM network that offers payment based on impressions, not just one impression per visitor but total impressions (regardless of clicks) I am also looking for good stats with analysis of impressions, clicks, commission etc. I am also looking for a network that provides family friendly ads.

Over to you guys, any suggestions?

It's a tall order to do what you are suggesting these days Mack. All the advertisers what everything based upon results. It is only the gimmick ads (punch that monkey) that can produce enough to justify cpm.

I think the days of cpm are numbered.

I agree Brett.
The main site I run is content based, so I dont sell anything. I dont think this site will ever produce a profit, to be honest I would just be happy if the income from ads was able to cover the cost of hosting etc. But hey...we all have an expensive hobby dont we :)

I wouldn't say they are numbered, just they are more selective on who they advertise with. If your site appeals to a good target audience for advertisers and has localised traffic (very important, no-one really has a product apart from maybe software that can use one ad campaign for the entire world) then CPM rates are out there.

People should start making a stand against CPC and CPA, in my opinion too many sites are allowing these to run as they will just about pay the hosting cost each month, not enable a decent income from a site.
